    We pay close attention to detail and
    are highly organized. Every event is specially priced and given its unique touch.
    We arrange the parties into reasonable size groups, each with their own Adventure
    Captain and each with their  own personal & private experience.

An Amazing Race event is an exciting way to experience both the city of Boston and segway gliding at it's best!  Based on the TV show by the same name, the Amazing Race events feature teams of people on segways following a series of clues and tasks around the city.  However, instead of using taxis, planes and boats for their mode of transportation, you are all on segways!
For each Amazing Race event, we have the group come to our office located at 75 Commercial St., Boston, MA 02109 to go through segway training and learn the rules of the Amazing Race.  From there, the teams are sent out with their first clue.  Throughout the event, we have one staff member following each team to make sure everyone is safe, following the rules and that they do not stray too far off course.  We also have staff members following each of the teams taking pictures and recording video throughout the event.
The prices for the Amazing Race events are as follows:
  
2 Hour Amazing Race: $112/person
3 Hour Amazing Race: $156/person
The training session takes approximately 30 minutes and occurs prior to the Amazing Race.  Included in the price of all Amazing Race events is the tax, gratuity and mutliple photo and video DVDs of your segway experience.
We glide rain or shine, so come prepared for the weather! Also, we have a 72 hour cancellation policy for group events.

Bridal Party
We recently hosted the bridal shower of a special someone. With relatives flying in from all over the country, the group of 30 all glided throughout Boston to celebrate the bride's special day.

Corporate Function
Throw the segways into the van and lets drive! Boston Gliders' team headed out to Moon Island to set up a personalized obstacle course to celebrate the anniversary of Nitsch's Engineering Group. With over 150 employees celebrating this special event, Team Survey had the best cumulative time! Congratulations Team Survey!

Sweet Sixteen
We recently hosted a sweet 16 with an "Amazing Race" theme. A group of 14 girls were celebrating their friends 16th birthday party. Part of the tasks for the race was to sing the "Cheers theme song" to the waiters at Cheers in Boston Common and then Segway over to the North End and eat a cannoli at Mike’s Pastry. You can just imagine how much fun this was!

Managers Outing
Boston Gliders hosted the Intercontinental Managers Outing 2009, a group of 40 managers and directors got together for a one hour adventure. Each group was led by an adventure captain throughout the city of Boston, once their adventure was completed the Managers all me at McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon for a private party---also set up by Boston Gliders.

Family Reunion
As a fun family reunion the Jones' decided to get all family members together and Segway throughout Boston. It was definitely a memorable and great bonding experience for the whole family.

Segway Polo Match
Boston Gliders recently hosted the Segway Polo Classic, a segway polo match between Boston Gliders and the Iron Side Gorillaz. If you are interested in setting up a private segway polo match for your company or family this can be arranged!

Policy
Changes and/or cancellations to already booked adventures need to be made at least 72-hours prior to the reserved date, if not done so Boston Gliders reserves the right to charge for the full amount.

Recommended Clothing
Wear comfortable but not loose clothing. No flip flops or open-toe shoes. Bring a water bottle, sun glasses and sunscreen!

Photo & DVD Service
Not to worry about bringing your own camera! Our adventure captains will handle the pictures. We have implemented a wireless camera system that allows you to get all your photos on a DVD when you return to take home with you. Say Cheese!
